The sporting activities of golf, horse riding, fishing, tennis and swimming are all within a radius of 10 miles, as are several well-equipped sports centres.

Within a short travelling distance you will find beautiful English gardens, historic houses, Roman remains, castles and quaint Sussex villages For horse lovers there is racing at Fontwell, Lingfield, Brighton and Goodwood and, of course, show jumping at nearby Hickstead.

You do not have to go far to find excellent local shops and pubs in the nearby village of Henfield. The Park is easily accessible from London. It is thirty minutes from the cross-channel ferries at Newhaven and International flights from Gatwick Airport.

With the sea and the countryside both on the doorstep, the choice of activities is endless. Whether you prefer a gentle stroll along country lanes, or a visit to a lively sea-side town, Downsview Park is a wonderful centre from which to venture forth.

There are extensive opportunities for walkers and cyclists. The South Downs Way, Ditchling Beacon and Devil's Dyke provide excellent walking routes, while the Downs Link Cycle path provides a traffic-free ride from Steyning to Guildford.

Brighton's renowned Royal Pavilion, piers, beaches, historic buildings, Marina, Shops, Museums, Cinemas and Theatres are only 9 miles away

If you love opera and drama, Glyndebourne Opera House and Chichester Festival Theatre are both within easy reach
